DESCRIPTION
A natural selenite slab becomes simultaneously a light source and a decorative object. Internal layers of the mineral scatter the glow, emphasising its milky translucency, delicate growth lines and possible warm staining related to the presence of goethite. When switched off, the lamp retains the character of a raw mineral form.
Selenite is a very soft material and therefore requires careful cleaning, protection from scratching and avoidance of prolonged contact with water.
