DESCRIPTION
The geode formed from amethyst subjected to thermal treatment, which reveals warm citrine hues in the crystal. The colour is associated with the presence of finely dispersed iron minerals, primarily goethite and hematite. Chalcedony is also present in the structure. The estimated age of the material is approximately 240 million years.
This is a standalone sculptural object that can become a focal point in a living room, lobby, office or hotel space.
